I got sick of wearing those tiny socks that you have to wear in dress shoes... You know the ones that basically only cover the bottom of your foot from toe to heel. They are always falling off my foot and getting holes. So instead of recreating a new sock, I created shoe liners that go into the shoe. I sewed them on the sewing machine, but you could do something similar with crochet, but I have a slight injury from crocheting so much, so I have to go a WHOLE WEEK without crocheting. However, it would take longer to crochet than sew. I prewashed the fabric so that they can be easily washed when they get gross. I lined the inside with flannel, so that it is really cute and soft. They are really comfortable, perfect for my favorite casual shoes.
If you want to know where I got the fabric, it was at JoAnn Fabrics in one of those quilting packs that only has the one yard of fabric. I think it is really cute fabric and I might have an item in my shop with this fabric. Check it out.
