This is a new scale maille crochet bag that I have done. I love the shine of the scales and the pattern that I used to create the look. Purple is also my favorite color, so of course I love it. I put this item on my etsy shop and also created a new listing for custom scale maille crochet bags. Available in any combination of up to three colors. The colors available are Red, Pink, Orange, Gold, Green, Blue, Purple, Black, and Silver. You can order a custom bag any time for any occasion.

This is a version of the "Diamond in the Rough" Triangle scarf pattern that I wrote. This picture shows how it looks without the border included in the pattern. You can supplement with any border that you like, or leave it as is. I am a simple girl, so sometimes I like to go without the border. The yarn I used is 5th Avenue Silken Effects Bamboo. You can search on google to find a place that sells it. If you would like to get this pattern or more information, visit the link below... If you like this look, leave a positive comment. I went to a craft fair last week and it didn't go too great, but I did have an awesome array of products captured here in this picture. I did learn a valuable lesson, though. You can't depend on the people who host the craft fair to advertise effectively. Tip: If you see a sign for a craft fair, then inquire about how to get a table the following year. If you have never heard of that craft fair before, you probably shouldn't sign up, because they so not advertise well. On the other hand, since my craft fair did not result in many sales, there are a ton of new items on my website. Check them out by clicking the link below ;) If you have advice about selecting craft fairs to participate in, leave a comment for the betterment of the craft community ;) This is a bracelet cuff that I made from my tutorial on how to make a tunisian crochet headband. Instead of altering the length of the work to fit my head, I made it fit my wrist. These cuffs are available as a custom order on my etsy site as well, so even if you do not like to do tunisian crochet, you can own one.
When I started this scarf, I was going to sell it. I used all natural fibers (bamboo and wool). But while I was working on it, I realized that it was too beautiful for me not to keep it for myself. I am currently working on another version of this pattern in pink/purple multicolor and white. It is an interesting pattern to work because each row is a different stitch so it is like a sampler type scarf. The pattern can be purchased and viewed if you click on the button. What do you think of my version of this scarf? Please leave a comment :) I have been making a ton of these bows and attaching them to hair clips for an upcoming craft fair. I got the pattern from a book called Crochet Boutique. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for easy accessories to crochet. These bows are available in multiple colors in my Etsy shop. This is a penguin I made for the Purple Stitch Project. The PSP is an organization that raises awareness for epilepsy and comforts kids with epilepsy and other seizure disorders. The idea is simple, you make a purple crochet, sewn or knit toy, hat, or other item and you send it in. Then, they will give it to a child with a seizure disorder. I think this is a great program and I would encourage anyone to participate. They have free patterns. but you can send any items that you have made that would be good for a child (1-20 yrs old). For more information, visit purplestitchproject.org How beautiful is this hat? I got this pattern from RAKJ Designs on Etsy and I think it turned out really well. I used a 50% wool blend (Lighthouse Brand Hayward Pointe) which gave it a really great drape. If you like it, leave a comment... ;) What is it with me and the green and black combo, lately? I don't know. What I do know is that this scarf turned out really pretty. I used a special Sea Kelp-Cotton Blend (Fibranatura Sea Song) which is really soft and amazing. I am not aware of any other yarns with these fiber blends. And they do have other colors beside green. So many people have asked me, "Oh, sea kelp. Is that what makes it green?" So to all of you out there wondering that same thing... No. If you have another question or comment, please leave it below in the comments section. This item is not for sale, because I got the pattern for free. You can find it on Ravelry under the name Elise Shawl. I saw some knit scale maille gloves online and I thought they were the coolest thing ever. So I bought some scales and developed a method to make them with crochet. I made a cuff from this method and decided to sell the custom products online. You can buy it on my Etsy site or just check out the one I made. Leave a comment and tell me what you think. My sister keeps telling me it looks like I am "the black falcon," when in fact, I do not think that is a real thing.
